Nutrition

A varied and balanced diet is the first step toward healthy skin. If you are not giving your body the nourishment it needs from the inside, face and body care products can only go so far. Protein, complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, and plenty of fluids, vitamins, and minerals will boost your healthy glow. Pair with a selection of teas to boost your immune defence and support your body’s detoxification processes. You don't need to buy fancy teas. Have a read of our Top Tip below. 

NAYA’s Top Tip:

Buy a fresh piece of ginger and a lemon. And make yourself a fresh Ginger Lemon shot each day to get the digestion and detox process kick-started off your body. Drink a ginger and lemon shot each morning to detox the body. Nothing helps fight a looming illness like a cold or flu, combat a lack of energy or brighten a dull complexion better than a shot of freshly pressed ginger with lemon.

Exercise

Physical activity has such a positive impact on our overall well-being and mental performance and is essential to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. With daily exercise blood flow is improved, toxins are released from the body and muscles are strengthened.

Sleep

Getting plenty of sleep is vital to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. When we sleep, our body regenerates, processes stress and fights off illness. It is recommended we have at least seven hours of sleep each night, for healthy skin, body and mind.

NAYA’s Top Tip:

Keep all electronic devices such as phones, tablets and televisions outside of the bedroom. If you do not have elsewhere to put them, make sure they are switched off to avoid electromagnetic waves disturbing your sleep.

We highly recommend applying a face serum day and night after cleansing to boost moisture levels and skin protection. The right serum can help target your specific skin concerns. For congested skin we recommend using our Everyday Glow Serum, or for dehydrated skin types, our Aura Essence. Work the serum into the skin with a gentle facial massage to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin and encourage lymphatic flow.

Top Tip:

After cleansing, apply our Aura Essence paired with our nourishing and protective to lock in moisture. Pop outside for a fresh, brisk morning walk to clear the mind while the products work into the skin and provide a cool firming effect. After your walk, rinse off your mask and moisturise.

 

Self-Care

We love to pair a replenishing mask with a relaxing bath. The wonderful thing about bathing is that you can personalise your bath depending on what your physical or mental needs are.

The Perfect At-Home Ritual: Start off by pouring yourself a luxurious bath and adding 5-7 spoons of salts and a few drops pf lavender oil to nourish and to soothe your body after a long and busy week. To restore the pH levels and balance of the skin add multitasking alkali salts which you can buy online from various sources. It can also be used as a detoxifying foot bath or facial scrub, to sooth irritation for the perfect end of week reboot.
